This Privacy Policy explains how socialGo (“socialGo”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use our website at socialgo.id and our application at app.socialgo.id (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account we collect your email address, and if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture from your Google account. We also store your workspace names, plan, and preferences such as language and brand tone.

Content you create

We store the posts you draft or schedule (captions, selected platforms, scheduled time, publishing status and links to published posts), Kanban tasks, Nava AI conversations, and the images or videos you upload.

Data from connected social media accounts

When you connect a social media account, you sign in on that platform’s own page and choose which permissions to grant. We then receive and store:

  • Access credentials: OAuth access and refresh tokens (or, for Bluesky, the app password you create for socialGo). We never see or store your social media password.
  • Basic profile information: account ID, display name, username, profile picture and profile link.
  • Public statistics: follower count and number of posts or videos, refreshed when you sync.

Technical information

Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, requested page and time) to keep the service secure and reliable. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and short-lived cookies to protect sign-in flows. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

2. How we use your information

We use your information only to provide and improve socialGo, specifically to:

  • sign you in and keep your account secure;
  • show your connected accounts, profile details and statistics in your dashboard and analytics;
  • publish posts to the accounts you choose, at the time you choose, only when you ask us to;
  • generate content suggestions with Nava AI when you send it a message;
  • send service emails such as sign-in links and important account notices;
  • detect abuse, fix errors and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, use it for advertising, or use data from your connected social media accounts to train AI models.

3. Platform-specific information

TikTok

With your permission, socialGo uses TikTok Login Kit and the TikTok Content Posting API. We access your basic profile (open ID, display name, username, avatar), profile statistics (follower and video counts) and, when you publish from socialGo, upload the video and caption you selected to your TikTok account. We only post content you explicitly submit. You can revoke access at any time in TikTok under Settings and privacy → Security → Apps and services, or by disconnecting TikTok in socialGo. TikTok’s handling of your data is governed by the TikTok Privacy Policy.

YouTube and Google

socialGo uses YouTube API Services. By connecting YouTube you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke socialGo’s access on the Google security settings page. socialGo’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads)

We access the Pages, Instagram Business or Creator accounts and Threads profiles you authorize, and publish only the content you submit. You can remove socialGo in your Facebook or Instagram settings under Apps and websites, or in Threads under Website permissions. See Data deletion for how to delete data we received from Meta.

X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, Bluesky and Mastodon

We use each platform’s official API with the permissions you grant to read your basic profile and publish the posts you submit. Each platform’s own privacy policy applies to data you share with it.

4. How we share information

We share data only with service providers that help us run socialGo, and only as much as they need:

ProviderPurpose
VercelApplication hosting and server logs
SupabaseDatabase for accounts, workspaces, posts and connected-account credentials
Cloudflare R2Storage of images and videos you upload
ResendSending sign-in and account emails
Google (Gemini), Groq, OpenRouterGenerating Nava AI replies from the messages you send to Nava
The social platforms you connectPublishing your posts and reading your profile through their APIs

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case we will notify you first.

5. Storage and security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access tokens and account data are stored in a database that is only reachable from our servers. Uploaded media is stored in cloud storage and served through hard-to-guess URLs so that social platforms can fetch it when you publish; anyone who has such a link can view that file.

Our providers may process data outside Indonesia. We choose providers that apply industry-standard security measures. No system is completely secure, so please keep your sign-in email secure and tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. Data retention

  • Account data is kept while your account is active.
  • Tokens and profile data for a social account are deleted when you disconnect that account.
  • Posts, media and AI conversations are kept until you delete them or your account.
  • After account deletion, data is removed from our active systems within 30 days; backups expire after up to 90 days.

7. Your rights and data deletion

You may access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent at any time, as provided by Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27 Tahun 2022) and other applicable laws.

  • Disconnect a social account: open Connection in socialGo and choose Disconnect. Its tokens and profile data are removed immediately.
  • Delete your account and all data: email support@socialgo.id from your account’s email address with the subject “Delete my account”. We confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.
  • Data received from Meta, TikTok or Google: the steps above also delete all data we received from those platforms.

8. Children

socialGo is not intended for anyone under 18, or under the minimum age required by the social platforms you connect. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as socialGo changes. We will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If the changes are significant, we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect.
